It has been an incredible journey since Norse Saga opened CBT in SEA. From all of us on the Norse Saga team, thank you for your passion, your feedback, and every report you’ve sent in through our official channels.
We’ve been reading everything: your posts, your inbox, your survey answers, and the in-game data. This Developer Note is our answer. Here’s what we’re improving in the upcoming CBT2, and why.

⚔️ 1. Smoother Early-Game Journey
- Prologue boss fight shortened from 30s to 15s.
- Main Quest boss [Show of Strength] rebalanced.
- Leveling-up curve adjustments (Level 36–38).
- “View” shortcut added from the first 10-draw results straight to players’ Star Spirit lineup.
- Download progress pop-up added when downloading resources packages.
🗺️ 2. Lowered Level Requirements for Events
- Idle (AFK) mode now available on Level 36.
- [Spirit Space] guild event now available on Day 1; Day 2 quests now grants more boss-summon Talismans.
- [World BOSS] event now available on Level 41, with a new side quest guide to first boss kill, faster boss respawns and increased Artifact drops.
🐺 3. Class Balance – Dual Blade Master
- Basic attack animation time and damage optimized.
✨ 4. Star Spirit Wishes and Quality Adjustments
- Wish pool probabilities and rarity displays have been updated to match new quality tiers.
- Legend quality Star Spirit [King Arthur] now evolvable into an Epic quality unit.
- Legend quality Star Spirits [Dante], [Demeter] and [Aegir] received skill buff adjustments.
- Star Spirits [Gawain], [Lancelot] and [Geraint] are now standardized as Legend quality units.
- Star Spirits [Archimedes], [Hermoter] and [Alice] are now Legend quality units.
🛡️ 5. Improved Daily Gameplay Experience
- Newly added [Valhalla Trial – Quick Challenge] function to escalate time taken for daily runs.
- Auto-quest function improved including better position sync under high latency.
- [Continue Challenge/Challenge again?] pop-up now appears after Conquest Dungeon, Guild Commission, Peerless Expedition and Abyss Realm runs if players’ party leader has attempted runs left.
- Idle (AFK) mode now drops rare items and equipment.
- Gems drop directly from dungeons.
- Sold-out items in [Trading Post] now display “0 for sale” with greyed icons.
- New refreshable sub-tab ‘Mystery Shop’ added in shop supporting multiple currencies.
- Players can now retroactively claim daily-content XP and resources missed the day before with the adjusted [Reward Retrieval] rules.
🎉 6. New Event Updates
- New evening guild activity ‘Guild Night Garden’ added.
- [Vault Crisis] is now a solo challenge.
- [Legion’s Return] boss HP extended (~12 minutes of the 15-minute window) so evening players still get their shot.
- Day 2 login reward for the 7 days login is now Legend quality Star Spirit [Dante].
- [7-Day Celebration] challenge requirements difficulty eased.
- Treasure chests are available to collect whilst waiting in-between matches in [Otherworld League].
🔧 7. Bug Fixes
- [Demon Hunt] boss not displaying when too many players are present.
- NPC quest dialogue not proceeding in crowded areas.
- Mismatched score displays across Character, Rank, and Hourglass screens.
- Guild titles not being revoked after a guild disbands.
- Weapon models not displaying class-specific outfits.
- Headwear not showing on the leaderboard.
- [World Boss] boss respawn timer desync.
- Players riding mounts through boundaries in [Joint Operation] prep phase.
- Untranslated text in sea-zone teleports and [Demon God] slot unlock conditions.
- Incorrect quantity display on bound reward mails.
