Welcome to Norse Saga, a Norse fantasy MMORPG filled with epic adventures, fierce battles, mystical companions, and legendary journeys beyond myth. At PlayPark, we are committed to fostering a safe, fair, and enjoyable environment for all players. This Game Policy outlines the rules and guidelines that help maintain the integrity of the game, promote positive interactions, and ensure a level playing field for everyone. 

This policy applies to all aspects of Norse Saga, including in-game activities, the official website, the Norse Saga Official Discord Server, social media channels, forums, and any other official PlayPark channels or related services. By accessing or using Norse Saga, creating or using an account, or participating in any associated service or official community channel, you acknowledge that this policy forms part of the binding terms and conditions between you and PlayPark, and you agree to comply with it. 

PlayPark reserves the right to enforce this policy at its discretion. Any violation may result in penalties including, but not limited to: written warnings; temporary or permanent restrictions on in-game chat and other communication functions (“Mute”); temporary suspension of access to the game and/or specific game features; permanent suspension of your game account and loss of access to Norse Saga and its associated services (“Ban”); or any other corrective measure deemed appropriate by PlayPark. 

You acknowledge that penalties taken by PlayPark under this policy, including warnings, Mutes, Bans, or any other corrective measures, may result in the loss of gameplay time, in-game assets, virtual currency, rankings, purchased items, or other forms of progress. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlayPark shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the enforcement of this policy, and you shall have no right to claim compensation, reimbursement, refund, or restoration of affected accounts, items, or data. 

PlayPark retains the right to investigate any suspected violations of this policy, including accessing and reviewing relevant game logs, account activity, communications conducted through official channels, transaction records, and any other information necessary to determine the facts. Where a violation is believed to involve fraud, theft, harassment, threats, cybercrime, or any conduct that may constitute an offence under applicable laws, PlayPark may, where permitted by applicable laws, disclose account information, logs, and other relevant data to law-enforcement agencies or competent authorities for further action. You acknowledge and consent that such disclosures may be made without prior notice where required for the protection of the community, the integrity of the game, or the enforcement of legal obligations. 

Our goal is simple: to create a community where respect, courage, creativity, and fair play thrive. If you encounter any issues or violations, please report them through our official channels. Together, we can make Norse Saga a legendary experience for all. 

General Principles 

All players are expected to treat others with respect and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Harassment, exploitation, cheating, or disruptive behavior undermines the spirit of the game and will not be tolerated. We encourage open communication but reserve the right to intervene when conduct harms the community, the game environment, or PlayPark’s services. 

Prohibited Conduct 

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited. Penalties are progressive and may escalate based on the severity, impact, and frequency of offenses. In severe cases, PlayPark reserves the right to take immediate and permanent action, bypassing all offense levels where necessary to protect the integrity of the game and the safety of the community. 

2.1 Spreading Rumors 

Definition: Creating, sharing, or amplifying false, unverified, misleading, or sensational information about any subject, whether related to the game or real-world matters, that may cause confusion, panic, fear, controversy, or disruption within the Norse Saga community. This includes spreading hoaxes about public figures, false news, fabricated events, unverified emergencies, misinformation presented as fact, or any narrative intended to mislead or provoke the Norse Saga community.

2.2 Impersonation / Fraud 

Definition: Pretending to be a Game Master, PlayPark Staff, or any official personnel. This includes actions intended to deceive, harm, exploit, or obtain benefits from other players.

2.3 False Reports 

Definition: Submitting intentionally misleading reports to gain an advantage in the game, falsely accuse another player, or falsely claim accounts, items, currency, or benefits.

2.4 Verbal Abuse 

Definition: Includes, but is not limited to, harassment or targeted insults; threats or intimidating remarks; offensive or obscene language; suicidal language or encouragement of self-harm; hate speech, including racism, sexism, homophobia, or any discriminatory or derogatory remarks.

2.5 Inappropriate Behavior / Unruly Behavior Toward GM or PlayPark Staff 

Definition: Using inappropriate language or behavior in-game or toward GM or PlayPark Staff, including profanity, racial slurs, sexual content, offensive remarks, harassment, obstruction, or disruptive conduct in the game or on official channels.

2.6 Inappropriate Player ID / Guild Name 

Definition: Creating or using Player IDs, character names, or Guild names that are explicit, racist, profane, discriminatory, impersonating, misleading, or otherwise offensive.

2.7 Boards / Forums Abuse 

Definition: Posting advertising, spam, offensive, profane, explicit, misleading, or unrelated content in official boards, threads, community spaces, or official channels. Such content may be deleted without warning.

2.8 Explicit or Offensive Images 

Definition: Sharing or posting images containing explicit, offensive, abusive, discriminatory, harmful, or inappropriate content. Such images may be deleted without warning.

2.9 Game Abuse: Use or Spreading of Hacks, Bugs, or Exploits 

Definition: Distributing hack programs, unauthorized tools, scripts, modified clients, exploit methods, bug-abuse instructions, or related websites; testing unauthorized hacks; or exploiting game bugs, vulnerabilities, or system errors for unfair advantage.

2.10 Real Money Trading (RMT) 

Definition: Buying, selling, trading, sharing, or transferring in-game items, accounts, Player IDs, currency, services, or features for real-world monetary value. This includes cash, legal tender of any jurisdiction, bank transfers, e-wallet payments, mobile reloads, prepaid cards, gift cards, or any other instrument that functions as real-world payment. PlayPark Staff do not participate in or endorse such activities. In cases involving fraud or other potentially criminal conduct, PlayPark may cooperate with law-enforcement authorities and provide relevant information upon receipt of a proper and lawful request.

2.11 Advertising Non-PlayPark Products 

Definition: Promoting, marketing, soliciting, or advertising any products, services, platforms, communities, transactions, websites, or content unrelated to Norse Saga or PlayPark within the game, social media, groups, forums, or official channels.

Refund and Purchase Policies 

PlayPark strives for transparency in all transactions, but certain purchases are final to maintain game balance, service integrity, and transaction fairness. 

No Refund Policy: Time-sensitive Cash Items purchased during unavoidable service disruptions, including maintenance, emergency maintenance, service instability, or other operational interruptions, are non-refundable. All purchases are made at your own discretion. 

Once Cash Items are redeemed, purchased, converted, transferred, or gifted successfully, they cannot be exchanged, transferred back, withdrawn, or refunded under any circumstances, unless otherwise required by applicable law. 

All purchased Cash Items are deemed non-refundable. 

Violations related to fraudulent refund requests, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, or abuse of this policy will result in a Permanent Ban. 

Anti-hack Policy 

To preserve fair play, security, and the integrity of Norse Saga: 

Unauthorized Access: Using third-party programs such as keyloggers, cheats, hacks, bots, scripts, macros, packet tools, unauthorized automation, modified clients, or any software that alters the game client or provides unfair advantages is strictly prohibited. 

Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account, login details, Player ID, password, authentication information, and related credentials. Sharing passwords, accounts, or login details is forbidden. Compromised accounts caused by negligence, sharing, suspicious links, unauthorized transactions, or unsafe account practices are not eligible for recovery. 

Reporting Hacks: Claims of account compromise through hacks, keyloggers, phishing, account sharing, or similar incidents will not be honored if the compromise resulted from shared information, negligence, or unsafe account practices. Secure your account; it is your responsibility. 

Violations of this Anti-hack Policy will result in a Permanent Ban. 

Enforcement and Appeals 

PlayPark GM and PlayPark Staff monitor the game proactively and respond to player reports. Penalties are applied based on evidence, context, impact, severity, and account history. PlayPark reserves the right to determine the appropriate penalty for each case. 

If you believe a penalty decision was made in error, you may appeal through the PlayPark Support portal within 7 days from the date of the penalty. Appeals must include detailed evidence. Repeated, abusive, misleading, or frivolous appeals will not be entertained. 

Attempts to evade penalties, including using alternate accounts, transferring assets, creating replacement accounts, or encouraging others to bypass enforcement action, are strictly prohibited. Any such attempts may result in escalation, including permanent bans on all related accounts. 

Disclaimer 

This Game Policy is subject to change without prior notice to adapt to evolving community needs, legal or regulatory requirements, security considerations, and ongoing game developments. Any such updates will be posted on Norse Saga official channels, including, without limitation, the official website, game launcher, social media pages, or other official communication channels, and unless stated otherwise, shall take effect from the time of publication. 

It is each player’s responsibility to review the latest version of this policy periodically. Your continued access to or use of Norse Saga after any changes have been implemented shall constitute your acknowledgement and acceptance of the updated Game Policy.
